Formal and informal social opportunities between administration and staff that builds great rapport that creates opportunities for the free flow of communication

Create easily accessible channels for constructive feedback from all stakeholders

Acknowledge stakeholder concerns

Utilize participatory leadership

Compromise

Have formal communications plan that establishes ground rules and mode of communication

Celebrate staff achievements

Create open-door policy

Utilize confidentiality agreement/policy

We agree with the folks of the other group in their suggestions for action items. We consider the idea of compromise and and participatory leadership as must haves for maintaining effective internal communications. We felt that weekly staff check ins/meetings, PLCs, and other committees could also help establish more effective communications.
