I integrate technology in my classroom with the use of laptops. There's a set of 25 laptops available, and I create lessons for the students on microsoft excel. I present math content through power point presentations which are projected onto a screen by a lcd projector. I would like to set up a school notes account so that students are able to refer to websites and homework assignments online.
I use technology to have my students investigate the history of public housing in Chicago in conjunction with a novel they are reading entitled Make Lemonade
I use technology in the classroom every day. My students use Word, Powerpoint, and Excel for projects and essays. I use it for newsletters and e-mails to communicate with parents. I use Gradebook to record grades. My computer is connected to a classroom monitor and I can demonstrate software and show DVD's on the monitor thru the computer. My 5th graders participate in a daily school news show that broadcasts each morning to the whole school.
I use technology on a daily basis. I frequently display electronic math manipulatives for my kids to see on a large screen. My kids often do projects using computer programs such as Word, Kidspiration, and AR. We also use Safari Montage, a video database.
I use the website, BrainPop, which contains many short, animated video clips, to introduce a variety of concepts in science. I also try to find online simulations of science experiments that cannot actually be done in class, due to time or budget constraints.
Lets try this again. I use technology all the time as I am the computer teacher for our school. I teach the use ofcomputers, I also manage and maintain our school's computers. Students receive instruction on touch typing, Windows, Microsoft Office, graphic editing, audio editing, and beginning programming.
I did it - created my blog from home! I also have a website for my classes through my district - www.ccsd93.com - Elsie Johnson - Support Staff - Mrs. Uhlig's Art Class. This lets me display my students artwork. And just recently I used a webcam to show my students a coiled basketry technique and embedded it in a Power Point lesson so that they can access it whenever they need a review. Margaret Uhlig

I like to use the projector in order to have the students view clips, live footage, or power points of the information being presented in class.

Web quests are a good way to integrate technology in the classroom. I have had my students do a sea creatures web quest.

I use technology weekly with my first graders. I work in the computer room and we use different math web sites that challenge my first graders.
